out of 1/2" thick pallet slats for a sleigh?
just some nails, glue, and an 1/8" dowel
or maybe a scrap piece of 1×6 pine for a Reindeer?
add a red, fuzzy nose to make Rudolph. The body stand at about 5" high, not counting the "antlers". Antlers are stained a walnut colour. 
Add a red bow to dress him up.
