Don’t worry too much Megan, you are too hard on yourself. That is what this kind of saws are used here for. This and some carpentry rough cutting, just because of the folding capabilities makes them practical for the “daikusan”.
It is true that Silky has a couple of specialty lines, for bamboo and for pruning but they are essentially the same save for the different handles. You can only make so many variations of the TPI on a handsaw after all!
