My diligent student Canaan, AKA Shibo, finished his boat. We added a cannon (or a water gun for my pacifist friends) and installed a water jet engine.

The water jets are a great addition and were totally Shibo's idea. I had a bag of miscelaneous metal objects that I gave him and he immediately zoomed in on a pair of antenna plug-in

terminals that I had discarded. He connected one of the terminals to his boat's stern.

Then he beamed at another item in that bag – an old curtain's bracket arm. He installed that arm with a screw to serve as a crane. What a great job he did…don't you agree?
