In an effort to get some competitive juices flowing for the Woodworking in America 2011 JPEG Wars, I’m posting two images by our reader, Doug Henderer. Doug submitted these images of a Federal table that he built. Gorgeous work, Doug! Does anyone else have some work they are proud to show?

There are only 20 days left before WIA 2011, so get into the shop, and finish those pieces.  As part of your finishing routine, make sure you snap a couple of images for posterity and opportunities like JPEG Wars. Taking a few detail shots like Doug did of his table is always a good idea. At the very least, you’ll be entered into a drawing for some really nice hand tools.

The dimensions for your Portuguese folding table seem to be wrong. If the top has 8 slats 2″ each and 7 spaces 1/4″ each that makes 17 3/4″ not 21 1/4″, so the arms should not be 17″. Also you show the leg brace tops to be 3″ above the floor and in the article you said you measured up 4″.Either I need 2 more slats or the arms are too long. Am I missing something?
