Hybrid WoodworkingThanks for all the great comments! Congratulations to “kevsc” the winner of this book giveaway. Stay tuned for more exciting book giveaways and if you’re interested in a copy of “Hybrid Woodworking” it is available at ShopWoodworking.com.

When you hang around woodworkers there is always talk of hand tools versus power tools. You’ll meet people who love the idea of doing everything they can by hand and really connecting with their material. And you’ll meet folks who like to take advantage of the speed and convenience that modern machines afford. And then there are those who believe in employing the best of both worlds: using power tools for the grunt work and hand tools for fine work. I suppose I fall into the last category, using a mix of tools. If you do too then this week’s book giveaway is up your alley.

Simply post a comment below to win a copy of “Hybrid Woodworking” by Marc Spagnuolo. I’ll choose one winner at random. Winner will be announced Monday 10/9/17. Good luck!

Great book, one of the few woodworking books that I read from cover to cover. I have modified my woodworking after reading and used it as reference for some of my tool purchases. I am now teaching a nephew in-law how to wood work and would love to share a copy of this book with him. Thanks for the opportunity!

  • mbbrogan

Mark Spag’s videos are what got me into woodworking! I prefer his older, more casual style over his modern, cut-heavy, almost clinical style, but he’s still great and has taught me a lot.
