When you hang around woodworkers there is always talk of hand tools versus power tools. You’ll meet people who love the idea of doing everything they can by hand and really connecting with their material. Great book, one of the few woodworking books that I read from cover to cover. I have modified my woodworking after reading and used it as reference for some of my tool purchases. I am now teaching a nephew in-law how to wood work and would love to share a copy of this book with him. Thanks for the opportunity!

Mark Spag’s videos are what got me into woodworking! I prefer his older, more casual style over his modern, cut-heavy, almost clinical style, but he’s still great and has taught me a lot.
