In this blog entry I will show how the hope-chest case was glued together. 

1. The sides were glued to the bottom and await the next stage: dropping on the two end parts.

2. Here are pictures of the corner joint between the leg, the side, and bottom panel.

3. The end pieces are being dropped over.

4. Clamping the parts: Since I did not have a sufficient number of long clamps I had to improvise something. I used the longest clamps I had and connected them jaw to jaw.

Next time I will show how I started building the lid….
