My main concern about electronic subscriptions is, will it require that my credit card information be held in a server. I have recently canceled an on line subscription because of this fact. If you have ever been a victim when a so-called secure server has been compromised then you will never allow it to happen again.

There is no such thing as a secure server. The ‘Hackers’ conference has revealed shocking information on how insecure things are. We are at war in a new and different way. There are those in this world that want your money and they will get it if you dangle the carrot in front of them.

I would prefer a system that notify’s you when it is time to pay and not hold your credit card number.

I love the digital subscription option, nad would love the dual subscription option at a reasonable premium. (I wouldn’t balk at $10)

Regardless of how this develops in the future, I wan to say thank you for doing a great job of listening to you readers.

Also, you all get a HUGE thank you for all of the free content that PW shares on the blogs, videos, etc!! It is the major reason that I became a subscriber: both to support that ethic and because of the consistent quality of the content. Keep up the great work!! (Pass that along too, please!)

I applaud your magazines decision to go digital. It probably is the wave of the future. Especially when your local post office is staffed by morons that continually damage magazines. However, I don’t see a way to renew my subscription for the lower renewal price.Mother Earth News gives a free digital version if you have a paper subscription. Also,I don’t mean to offend, but the person fielding questions about this should actually be able to answer the questions.

Fantastic! I’m thrilled to be able to carry my subscription with me and not devote any more shelf space to heavy dust magnets. Thanks for leading the way in the digital subscription world. Signed up yesterday. My cats thank you guys for their future free shelf space. Hmmm. I guess those are also heavy dust magnets…

Wow that’s great news! Would it be possible to add other payment options for the shop, like Paypal (for example), for us foreigners without a credit card?

Looks like everyone showed their face except the Editor. Since I have a paper subscription through 2017, I think I will pass. densull

Thanks Megan. Good first step. I’m one of the ones that has wanted the digital edition. Now if I could only get it through Barnes and Noble I could downloaded it directly to my Nook. Now, I will have to download it to my PC and then port it over to my Nook.

Looking forward to the next step.

Paying for the same thing twice sticks in my craw.

When the second instance is priced the same, but costs far less to manufacture and deliver, it really sticks in my craw.

Please pass this sentiment along, too.

I’d like to know if I can convert my paper subscription to a digital subscription.

I am a current subscriber of the magazine. In addition to the paper copy, I would sure like a digital copy. Are you considering a reduced price digital subscription for those of us that still want the paper too?
