Here is the completed cut of a face frame made with the jigsaw. Since I’m using the pattern guide to trace the decorative cuts, both hutches will be identical.

To rout the edge smooth, I reinstall the router pattern guide. Since it’s sitting over the workpiece, I’m using a flush trim bit with a bottom mounted bearing, as shown.

After the cut with the flush trim bit, the appropriate router bit here to smooth the edge is a 1/8’’ round over.

After routing, a file was used to refine the acute tip.

The face frames are ready to be installed on the cupboards.

On this particular page of my website I've included two tips about safety.
