treehouseCalling all woodworkers and Weekend Warriors!
Have you designed and built a treehouse you’re proud of (either as a fun playhouse for your kid or something more elaborate such as a vacation home or woodland retreat)?

Popular Woodworking Books is looking for fantastic treehouse projects to be part of an inspirational book for builders and treehouse fans alike. And your project could be featured in the book!

SUBMISSION DETAILS
How to participate: Simply send beauty shots of your treehouse project to us via email. That’s it. Super easy. Make sure to include your complete contact info so we can get in touch with you if your project is selected.
Deadline: August 1, 2015
Where to submit: email us at pwbooks@fwcommunity.com
What’s in it for you: If your treehouse is selected you’ll get bragging rights for having your project published in a Popular Woodworking book, a free copy when the book is published, and a one-year digital magazine subscription.
A Few Details: If your treehouse is selected, you must be able to provide high resolution images of your treehouse and any sketches or plans you’d be willing to have published, along with a brief paragraph explaining your vision or your process.

If this is the future of Pop Wood you can expect thaI I will be cancelling my subscription. Whatever happened to woodworking articles written by knowledgable people?

In addition to authoritative books on building workbenches, using handplanes, shop setup, etc., we’ve always also offered birdhouse books, home repair books and beginner woodworking project books of interest to a wider audience. The call for submissions here is for one of those books, not for the magazine. I promise you that the focus of the magazine is not changing, and we have many articles upcoming (as well as upcoming books) from some of the best-known names/experts in woodworking.
