Frank Lloyd Wright is possibly the most famous American architect of all time. On top of creating the most iconic buildings of the modern era, he is perhaps less known as an important furniture designer of the 20th Century. My friend, design historian Daniella Ohad Smith, just released a documentary about Wright’s furniture and interiors. The film is geared toward furniture collectors but will educate and inspire anyone who is interested in furniture and woodworking.

Wright’s array of styles spans from Mission to Modern and crosses over into Art Deco and Art Nouveau. Check out this film to learn more about furniture lingo, see examples of Wright’s pieces including their geometries and materials, and how they enhance the interior space. You’ll also pick up some gossip about some of the most expensive furniture out there.
