I like to keep my fix-based routers handy and ready to go with my favorite bits. Of course the bits prevent me from storing the routers standing up. That's why I built this rack with cutouts for the bits. I made it using 3/4-in. MDF. It measures 4 in. tall by 9-1/2 in. deep by 16 in. wide. Each slot measures 2 in. wide by 6 in. deep. I drilled a 2-in. hole at the back of each slot and cut out the rest of the slot on my bandsaw. My router wrenches and extra collets fit nicely under each router.
