The handsome and simple projects of I Can Do That are the perfect introduction to woodworking and they’re nice, quick builds for the experienced woodworker, too! In this collection of six videos from ICDT host Chad Stanton, you’ll learn step-by-step how to build solid, well-designed items using inexpensive materials and tools from the home center. Using basic hand tools and portable power tools, you can convert dimensional lumber into great looking furniture for your home.

Episodes 7 & 8: Potting Bench
This simple-to-build potting bench includes plenty of storage for all your small garden tools and potting soil. And, with Chad's step-by-step instruction over two episodes, you'll have it built and ready to put to work in just one day.

Episodes 9 & 10: Hallway Bench
Though this handsome piece with two easy-to-make drawers was designed as a hall bench, it would also make a nice coffee table or television stand. With this two-episode project, you’ll get an introduction to iron-on veneer and some must-know finishing tips.

Episode 11: Oak Book Stand
This classic and practical book stand can be used in the kitchen for cookbooks, or in the shop for your favorite project books or tool manuals. You’ll need only a few tools to build it as you learn how to make pegged mortise-and-tenon joints.

Episode 12: Curve-legged Coffee Table
Learn how to work with plywood, including how to add veneer tape to hide the unsightly edges. This great looking coffee table includes an easy-to-build drawer—perfect for stashing the remote.
