I can add some information on your missing episodes.
My record shows that episode 9 (not 8) was called “Straight and Narrow” and episode 13 was called “The Carpenters”. I have no descriptions of either.

I have a copy of episode 4, #204 (The Plane Truth II). It is a continuation of episode 3, which you call “Handplanes”. My copy is of a video tape produced by WTG Video and distributed by Sterling Publishing which combined both episodes.

Thanks for getting these released, since I was missing most of seasons 2-5. When will we see years 4 and 5?

Which ones? Post the season and the content. I know of people with a large collection of home taped episodes.

There is a gap in years right when the show started (waiting for renewal after first year/production schedules, etc.), so those dates are correct – you’re not missing anything…expect for a handful of episodes that are “lost” – which Roy (and everyone involved) is eager to find (if you know where they might be, please let us know!):
Season 2, Episode 4, #204 (Sharpening)
Episode 8, #208
Episode 13, #213
(We don’t know what’s on 208 and 213)

And if we can get our hands on those, we’ll put them online, free for everyone.

I am thrilled that the archives were opened at last. I ordered and received all of the ones you folks made available and the family has had to remind me to leave the screen and eat a meal now and then. One question though: the packaging on Season 1 states that it is year 1980. Season 2 says 1982 and Season 3 says it is 1983. Are we missing a year -’81? Tried looking at a listing of episode titles online but couldn’t make it match up with what is on the DVDs. Thanks!

I must admit that I balked a little at the price, but I pre-ordered the first two seasons anyway. The new price will encourage me to buy more seasons as they become available. At any rate, I’m happy to help support in some small way the ongoing production of my favorite show.

Yes they will play in Australia – they are, like most of what we produce for video, NTSC all regions.

Hi, what region code are these ? I ask as we’re region 4 in Australia and sometimes US produced stuff for export is still region 1 instead of ALL which means we can’t legally play it.
