Revamped Moser’s ‘Shaker Furniture’

We were excited about the opportunity to bring Thomas Moser’s “How to Build Shaker Furniture” up to today’s publishing standards. While the book has been an inspiration to many, it hadn’t been updated in 30 years. What’s the difference? Take a look at the two photos below for an example of old and new.

This version has new color photography and updated, clear illustrations with comments from the author himself about the pieces and what 30 years has done to the furniture style. There are also nine new projects included, for a total of 45 classic Shaker furniture projects. To give you a quick glimpse at some of those pieces, we’ve picked a dozen for you to preview below.
