Think what people now would make of a 100 year-old chest if it appeared on ebay or wherever with custom hardware so distinctive.

Don’t see why not. I would need a template for the key hole size and shape to fit a given lock.

FYI, I was kind of serious about the lock. John could make an escutcheon for the lock that looks like the handles. The nose and upside down ” V ” look like an easy place to put the key hole. The rest of th cats would be bling, although it would be intersting to see the cat pulls.

Let’s see, if you get a cat lock (up for it John?) and three cat hinges to replace the ones you have that gives you 6 cat-like iron on our chest, plus the two cats holding the saws in place which brings you up to 8 cat-like accessories; then if your drawers have cat head pulls ,,,
