Why the need for a cat video?

George clearly didn’t think the saws were too pricey, as at one point he felt they were priced reasonably enough to place an order. Sounds like George had an issue with being lied to (call it something else if you like). Do you have a video for that?

So, it’s nice that he made 120 – 130 saws, wonder how many people he left in the lurch because he got tired of making saws and taking deposits.

Seems like a flash in the pan to me.

First of all let me say that I am very sorry to see that Andrew Lunn will no longer be making saws. I believe he is a talented and artistic craftsman who has raised the bar on saw quality. I wish him well. I must also say that I am an internet “crank”. I really wanted one of Andrew’s saws and went to the Indianapolis show seeking him out. However, after waiting a year the price was raised on my order after I had been told it would not. When I raised my great displeasure with this renege, I was blacklisted. If one finds this an unfair practice they are a crank or a miserly woodworker? Does this make me negative or trivial? I find that unfair. If agreements can not or will not be met, I would think at the very least some understanding or apology would be in order. I hope this tendency to insult anyone or dismiss anyone who may question any issue becomes less in the future.

It’s cool that Andrew continues refining how to utilize his talents, rather than settling for good enough. I appreciate that. It’s encouraging to me.

I have an unused Andrew Lunn Dovetail Saw on ebay now. I hope this doesn’t run afoul of your rules, but given the scarcity of these saws, I thought the blog readers might like to know how to find one of these beautiful tools.
