For the June 2011 issue of Popular Woodworking Magazine we asked readers:
“If you could own only one woodworking book, what would it be?”
We are still compiling the responses (it’s time-consuming), but we wanted you to be able to see the raw results so you can draw your own conclusions. In looking at the responses, I see a lot of books by Tage Frid, James Krenov and Roy Underhill.
The survey results are in two places. We have more than 190 responses in our SurveyMonkey survey. Click here to view those results. You also can download that data as a spreadsheet for your own analysis here.
There also are another 97 responses to the original blog entry here. Check them out, and then head to the library or bookstore.
