I picked one of these up when the flyer came out from Veritas. The usefulness was immediately apparent. And sure enough, put to work, it’s usefulness was confirmed. Nice review of the tool and it’s features Chris.

Well I like the fact that you can scribe one line at a time instead of having to always do them simultaneously.

But I wouldn’t get rid of a gauge if it was working fine for me….

Hi Chris

I have the Veritas single beam version with the additional mortise cutters. Is there an additional advantage the two beams have over the single + mortise cutters?

I’ve shopped at every Lee Valley Store in Ontario and received their catalogs for over 25 years but this is the first reference to their April Fools Tools that I’ve ever seen. Thanks for that. Love your blogs too Chris
